• Teach math concepts to students in a study hall environment with students primarily in the K-8th grade range.
• Help students solve problems by guiding thinking rather than providing direct answers.
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative teaching environment that aligns with Mathnasium’s methodology.

• Strong math skills and solid communication skills.
• Coachability and the ability to take instruction in a dynamic teaching environment.
• Available at least 3 days out of the 5 days we are open; flexibility appreciated.
• No teaching certificate required; a math assessment will be administered, followed by training in our methodology.
• Open to college students, recent graduates, and other backgrounds.

• Earn up to $1000+ per month while keeping weekday mornings and afternoons free.
• Convenient hours: 3pm - 7pm Mon-Thurs; 11am - 3pm Sun.

We are a group of instructors at Mathnasium of Hillsboro who are making a real difference in students’ lives. Our teaching philosophy focuses on teaching math in a way that makes sense to students, building from where a student currently stands in their math abilities.

• We are not a private tutoring facility, and we do not teach online.
• We operate in a dynamic environment; the physical requirements are similar to a restaurant server—constant movement, navigating spaces, frequent communication, and lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• All applicants will be required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency, provide work authorization, and pass a background check.
