PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) Solution Architect in the semiconductor industry plays a crucial role in designing and implementing effective solutions to manage product development, manufacturing, and lifecycle processes. Let's delve into the key responsibilities and skills associated with this role:
Number of years of experience: 15 Years in Teamcenter implementation
Industry domain: Semiconductor
Responsibilities:Analyzing business requirements and understanding the unique needs of semiconductor design, new product introduction (NPI), and manufacturing processes.
Configuring and automating workflows within Teamcenter.
Collaborating with subject matter experts to address complex bug issues in production systems or applications.
System Architecture Assessment and Improvement.
Design integration interfaces with existing applications.
Working closely with technical staff to recommend solutions that improve system performance, scalability, and efficiency.
Gathering business process requirements related to semiconductor design, NPI, and manufacturing.
Preparing detailed functional specifications and advising offshore teams on efficient implementation.
Collaborating with relevant architects, subject matter experts, and project management teams.
Mapping services and software to meet customer requirements.
Creating high-level architecture/solution options, work breakdown structures, project timelines, cost estimates, and risk assessments.
Solving technical problems as they arise during Teamcenter Implementation.
Providing expertise in resolving issues related to Teamcenter customizations and configurations.
