Nano Probing Technician

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Utilize OLAF task management software to identify samples requiring probing.
• Physically retrieve and organize samples from designated storage cabinets.
• Operate Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) to load samples, locate probing sites, and conduct analysis.
• Use CAD software to align physical samples with corresponding CAD layouts.
• Analyze signal transmission across chip layers, tracing signals in CAD to identify drivers and receivers.
• Perform precise probe manipulation using a joystick controller to establish contact and collect accurate data.
• Compile, document, and communicate measurement results through detailed reports.
• Apply fundamental knowledge of MOSFET operation to analysis; advanced understanding of semiconductor physics and processing technology is beneficial.

• Bachelor of Science in a STEM field plus 4 years of experience working in a similar environment.
• Hands‑on analytical tool experience including SEM, Transmission Electron Microscopy and/or beam based tools.
• Basic knowledge of Semiconductors.
• Use internal task management system to identify samples ready for probing.
• Operate Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) for failure analysis.
• Utilizing CAD software to align physical samples with layouts.
• Analyzing signal transmission and trace signals in CAD.
• Performing precise probe manipulations for data collection.
• Basic knowledge of MOSFET operation and semiconductor physics.
• Ability to perform electrical measurements and has a basic understanding of devices and circuits.

• Metrology data processing and statistical analysis.
• Knowledge and understanding of device physics and circuits.
