Position Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Framework Engineer with strong experience in Python-based test automation using Pytest and Robot Framework. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in embedded systems testing (QNX, Linux, Android), hardware interfacing, and CI/CD integration. This role involves designing, developing, and enhancing automation frameworks that validate next-generation in-flight or infotainment systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain Python-based automation frameworks using Pytest and Robot Framework.
- Integrate Robot Framework libraries and keyword-based tests into existing Pytest-based automation infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable CI/CD-based test execution (Git Lab runners preferred).
- Interface with QNX hypervisor, Android VMs, and Linux VMs for validation and system testing.
- Conduct hardware-software integration testing involving USB, Ethernet, Audio, Display, and other peripherals.
- Perform system-level testing on various environments – desktop setups, virtual test racks (AWS), and physical rack systems.
- Assist in porting Robot Framework tests into Pytest suites within PAC infrastructure.
- Support validation on in-flight entertainment or automotive infotainment systems.
- Provide technical recommendations to improve framework scalability and maintainability.
Skills & Experience:
- 7–10 years of experience in Python test automation and framework development.
- Strong hands‑on experience with Robot Framework and Pytest (keyword and tagging-based test design).
- Experience with QNX OS, Linux, and Android embedded platforms.
- Familiarity with hardware interfacing (USB, serial, Ethernet, audio, display).
- Integration experience with CI/CD tools (Git Lab preferred) and test orchestration systems.
- Experience in virtualization and cloud-based test environments (AWS).
- Exposure to in-flight entertainment or automotive infotainment domains.
