The Senior Mechanical Engineer leads mechanical design for complex cleanroom, fab, and advanced technology manufacturing facilities, shaping systems that support mission-critical operations, uptime, and safety. This role develops and coordinates HVAC and mechanical solutions from concept through construction and startup, including air handling units, VAV systems, chillers, boilers, exhaust ventilation, pump hydraulics, and wastewater discharge equipment. The engineer works closely with project managers, discipline leads, clients, contractors, and vendors to define scope, resolve technical issues, manage design changes, and support quality reviews.
Using AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks for modeling and clash detection, this role ensures technically sound, code-compliant, and constructible solutions while providing mentorship and technical leadership across project teams.
At SSOE, we don’t just talk about the future, we build it. As a leader in industry AI adoption, we empower our team to work smarter by providing responsible access to the industry leading AI Large Language Models, vibe-coding platforms, and securely integrating advanced tools into every role. From day one, you’ll receive the training and support needed to leverage AI as a core tool for enhancing productivity, sparking creativity, and streamlining complex workflows.
