Job Summary

The Loan Servicing Processor II is responsible for coordinating the workflow between the Loan Servicing, Closing, Loan Participation and Watchlist teams through efficient loan file management, document production, and reporting. Independently manage a variety of daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual tasks. Requires the ability to balance a variety of tasks while supporting multiple teams and deadlines.

Principal

Duties & Responsibilities:

Prioritize, organize and coordinate the processing of new and paid off loan files, reports to our customers and other projects as assigned. Support teams in handling time sensitive projects, communications with internal and external customers and dealing with complex transactions. Serve as back‑up to the Processor team in high‑volume times. Manage onsite and offsite files and record storage for loan and legal files.

Assist in electronic file organization and documentation.

Receive and prioritize incoming correspondence and phone calls. Respond to inquiries, including responding to routine requests for materials and information. Maintain confidential information including department records and files. Develop and deploy training programs, in collaboration with the Operations Manager, for new team members in Servicing or Closing Operations. Recommend modifications to existing procedures to enhance department efficiency.

Sort and process incoming mail, identify and distribute documents for various departments, including distributing incoming checks to appropriate parties to journal and deposit. Prepare journal entries, deposits and check requisitions to support timely processing into the general ledger and bank. Ensure compliance with internal controls over processes. Perform varied administrative and clerical duties, including creating correspondence, scanning, photocopying, filing and maintaining office equipment.

Additional projects as assigned.

Skills and Background You’ll Need
  • 2+ years of experience, in a dynamic office environment that includes the following:

    • Mortgage or loan closing

    • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.

  • Education:

    High School Diploma
