US Experienced Financial Advisor – Edward Jones

Job Overview

As a financial advisor with Edward Jones, you'll develop and grow your own practice, supported by branch associates, a home‑office team and other regional financial advisors. Responsibilities
  • Build relationships to create new clients via face‑to‑face and virtual sourcing strategies (e.g., residential, business, networking, introductions and referrals, social media and speaking engagements).
  • Deeply understand clients' and prospective clients' needs, priorities, and concerns to accelerate trust and create personalized, comprehensive strategies to help clients achieve their goals.
  • Oversee branch processes, roles, and responsibilities to ensure a high‑quality, streamlined client experience consistent with firm policies and procedures, regulatory requirements, and ethical guidelines.
  • Engage the branch team to create, monitor, and adjust the branch business plan to increase branch effectiveness and achieve desired business results.
  • Create a highly engaging environment in the branch of mutual trust, respect, feedback, and accountability.
  • As an associate, complete ongoing training offered by the firm and regulatory authorities, and required training to maintain registrations and licenses in good standing.
  • Use the firm‑provided branch office in the community.
  • Provide client support to help lighten the load so you can focus on your clients.
  • Work independently while having a team of thousands backing you every step of the way.
Candidate Qualifications
  • Series 7 and Series 66 required.
  • Experience in financial services working with clients, with in‑depth knowledge of investment products and services and a track record of success.
  • State insurance licenses preferred.
  • Preferred additional professional designations such as CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, CRPC™, or Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor™.

Compensation
  • Hiring Minimum: $50,000 / yr;
    Hiring Maximum: $125,000 / yr.
  • No ceiling to earning potential; compensation is tied to effort.
  • Multi‑faced package includes profitability bonuses, profit sharing, and incentive travel.
  • Flexibility to balance personal and professional lives.
