The Sr. HRIS Analyst provides technical and administrative support and coordination between Compensation & Benefits, Payroll, and Finance. This key technical role ensures the effective design, configuration, and maintenance of the organization’s Human Resources Information System (HRIS), Oracle HCM Cloud. The role collaborates with Employee Services colleagues and other departments to streamline processes, automate tasks, and leverage the HRIS to meet organizational needs through reporting, analysis, implementation, and training.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- System Configuration and Maintenance (Oracle HCM Cloud): Serve as subject‑matter expert ensuring system integrity, configure, test, implement changes, patches, upgrades, new modules; manage system tables, business processes, security roles, and user accounts.
- Research & Development (R&D): Lead research, testing, and development of VGPro and other integrated HR platforms; translate strategic initiatives into technical requirements and automate manual tasks related to credentialing and document management.
- System Integration & Data Management: Manage data imports, exports, and interfaces between Oracle HCM Cloud and other critical systems (Payroll, Time & Attendance, Finance); develop and execute complex reports and dashboards (OTBI); manage data audits and core record systemization.
- End-User Support & Training: Provide advanced tier 2/3 technical support, troubleshoot and resolve HRIS issues; develop and maintain documentation, user guides, and training materials; conduct end‑user training sessions for HR staff and employees.
- Compliance & Audit: Ensure the HRIS supports regulatory compliance for FQHC standards, including I‑9s, credentialing, payroll, and grant management; handle PHI in accordance with HIPAA; perform other duties as assigned.
The SR. HRIS Analyst accesses PHI to maintain accurate, up‑to‑date health records, adhering to the minimum necessary standard of HIPAA. Designated record sets include all sections of the dental and medical record, patient demographics, incoming records, results, consultations, and more. The analyst reads content only to the extent needed to accomplish assigned tasks.
Knowledge,Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of principles and practices of employee benefit analysis and administration.
- Knowledge of accounting principles, including reconciliation and adjustment.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), advanced Excel and HRIS database management.

- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or HR; additional relevant experience may substitute for the education requirement.
- Experience supporting Human Resources services with cross‑functional teams.
- Proficiency with HRIS database systems administration (data infrastructure support, reporting, file integration, product plug‑ins).
- Minimum of four (4) years of hands‑on experience configuring and maintaining Oracle HCM Cloud.
- Expertise in at least two Oracle HCM Cloud modules:
Core HR, Benefits, Absence Management, Talent Management, or Time and Labor. - Proficiency developing complex reports and dashboards using OTBI and potentially BI Publisher.
- Strong understanding of HR principles, regulatory requirements, and data privacy standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and project management skills.
- Experience in the healthcare industry, particularly with FQHC operations, compliance, and reporting.
- Familiarity with systems integration and integration methods (HDL, HSDL, Fast Formulas).
