The System Specialist WMS Design Lead is responsible for the efficient transmission, storage, and analysis of information by means of computer networks, systems, and databases. This role supports the Aerial, amphibian electronics manufacturing plant community with installation, maintenance, and system updates on network hardware and software. The specialist evaluates system performance, identifies user needs, and determines system and network requirements while providing on‑call support as required.

• Act as primary support for client systems solutions for the user community.
• Develop and maintain tracking tools for support service requests and resolutions by location and resource.
• Engage appropriate expert resources when complex support issues arise outside of the WMSRed Prairie and/or SAP application.
• Collaborate with project teams to implement, maintain, and improve internal systems.
• Maintain system efficiency and test modifications, troubleshooting problems when they occur.
• Coordinate with corporate IT and operations staff to resolve complex issues.
• Analyze and present data using internal data management processes.
• Produce regular reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
• Ensure all RF Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are current and train associates on updated SOPs, Microsoft Office, WMS programs, and RF guns.
• Respond to inquiries about WMS-Red Prairie and other related computer issues and refer questions when needed.
• Maintain professional verbal and written communication with internal and external customers.
• Assist with research projects and special projects as assigned.
• Oversee manpower recruitment, retention, and development for operations within scope of responsibility.
• Ensure procedures exist at all sites to guarantee client service, productivity, and facility and equipment maintenance.
• Set goals to provide continuous improvement for assigned site.

• Mid to senior Microsoft Office skills.
• Technical knowledge of appropriate technologies for the assigned application or set of applications.
• Experience with administration and maintenance of infrastructure, software, systems, etc.
• Experience with Red Prairie, RF/ RDTs, UNIX, proprietary WMS, Wi‑Fi, RF systems and equipment.
• English (reading, writing, verbal) and strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Business and financial acumen and analytical skills for data storage, mining, and procedures.
• Four‑year degree in a computer related field or a two‑year degree plus relevant experience (minimum 2 years of job‑related experience).
• Preferred 3‑5 years of experience in end‑user support, vendor and client interaction, and end‑to‑end BI environment understanding.

The expected base pay range for this position is $69,200 – $86,500 annually. Benefits include medical, prescription, dental, vision and life insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, and a 401(k) plan with company matching contributions of up to 5%.
