The Hillsboro School District is seeking a Technology Support 2 professional to support three of our Elementary schools with their technology needs and provide friendly and welcoming support. This position will serve Ladd Acres, Butternut Creek, and Imlay Elementary Schools. The ideal candidate will be customer-service oriented, collaborative, and have a high interest in supporting our students and staff with a diverse set of hardware and software technology.

GENERAL

DUTIES

Serve as the second level support for technology issues. Diagnose the root cause and perform repairs to known issues. Assist with maintaining a library of technology help documentation.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or its equivalent
  • Proficient oral and written communication skills in English
  • Proficient in the use of computer and Internet based applications, including but not limited to email and systems applications
  • Experience performing repairs and upgrades on a wide variety of systems and end user technologies
  • Experience diagnosing the root cause of technology problems
  • In‑depth knowledge of a wide range of computer systems software, applications, and end user technology
  • Hold a valid Oregon driver’s license
