Seeking a hands-on Data Center Technician – L2 to support server, storage, networking, and high-performance computing hardware deployments. The ideal candidate will have strong rack-and-stack, structured cabling, hardware installation, and physical troubleshooting experience.
Responsibilities- Rack, stack, install, and cable servers, storage, networking, and GPU systems.
- Install rails, label equipment, manage cables, and maintain proper airflow.
- Install and verify fiber, copper, and power/PDU connections.
- Support hardware moves, adds, changes, migrations, and decommissioning.
- Follow rack elevation diagrams, deployment runbooks, and engineering documentation.
- Perform basic hardware, LED, port, and connectivity checks.
- Maintain accurate asset tracking and installation documentation.
- Follow ESD, safety, and security procedures.
- 3+ years of hands-on data center experience.
- Strong rack-and-stack and structured cabling experience.
- Experience with fiber, copper, PDUs, and enterprise servers such as Dell, HPE, or Supermicro.
- Ability to read rack elevation diagrams and follow technical runbooks.
- Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and working in rack environments.
- Strong attention to detail and troubleshooting skills.
- Hyperscale or GPU-dense data center experience.
- HPC/high-performance computing exposure.
- Experience with large-scale hardware refreshes or migrations.
