Job Responsibilities
- Assist in overseeing daily service department operations
- Support Service Advisors and technicians to ensure efficient workflow
- Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the repair process
- Address customer concerns and help resolve issues professionally and promptly
- Monitor repair order progress and ensure timely vehicle delivery
- Assist with scheduling, staffing, and workload distribution
- Maintain strong communication between customers, technicians, and management
- Help achieve departmental sales, productivity, and customer satisfaction goals
- Ensure compliance with dealership policies, manufacturer guidelines, and safety standards
- Support training and development efforts for service department personnel

Assistant Service Manager Qualifications
- Previous automotive service department experience
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to lead, motivate, and support a team
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities
- Proficiency with dealership management and service system
Corporate requirements:
Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record, able to pass a criminal background check, and a pre-employment drug screen.
