Day shift: M-Th, 10-hour shift, 6:00 am to 4:30 pm

Rate of Pay: DOE

PRIMARY PURPOSE
:
Create programs using Master Cam and Esprit to manufacture metal parts per blueprint specifications.

• 3 yrs. experience with BOTH Master Cam (2020 or above) and Esprit programming software
• Experience as a lathe machinist helpful
• Strong knowledge of GD&T
• Skills to plan and program complicated parts according to blueprint
• Understand tolerance and blueprint reading
• Ability to work independently with little supervision
• Excellent communication skills and willingness to work with others
• Must have excellent work ethic and attendance
• Attention to detail

• Program metal parts to be run on various CNC Lathes and assign program numbers according to customer specifications.
• Daily programming using Master Cam 2024 and Esprit
• Review blueprint and establishes a sequence of operations to produce product
• Update programs with needed changes
• Establish correct tools to use on each machine to manufacture the product
• Design fixtures for CNC Lathe runs
• Produce set up sheet for operators
• Determine size and availability of materials
• Requests materials for production
• Daily communications with CAD Dept, operators and management to develop product as necessary
• Review new jobs and determine priority
• Review returned product and update documentation as necessary
• Other duties as assigned
