CNC Citizen Lathe Machinist

We have an opportunity for an experienced CNC Citizen Lathe Machinist looking for a 6-9 month, short duration assignment filling in for a machinist on leave.

Start training immediately and work through the end of March 2026. Possibility of extending employment beyond March 2026 for the right candidate willing to transfer full-time to nights or weekend days (plus shift differential).

Experience

Required:

3 yrs.
$29-31 hr.
Shift: Days, Monday-Thursday, 6:00 am – 4:30 pm

With possibility of moving to Night or Weekend days by extending full-time employment beyond the 6-9 months with additional shift differential.

Program, set up and operate the CNC Citizen Lathe.

• Set up and run machines
• Schedule and prioritize jobs for CNC Citizen Lathe
• Check stock for materials needed for jobs
• Alert Production Manager about parts that need to be ordered
• Checks tooling on machines
• Assist in quoting jobs for the Swiss Machine
• Maintain the fluid levels on machines
• Grind tools for Lathe

• Train other employees on operation of various CNC lathes, if needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned

This position typically requires 3 years experience as a CNC Lathe Machinist. Proficiency in math. Basic computer programming skills helpful but not required.
