Qorvo is looking fora Manufacturing Equipment Maintenance Technician that will fit well into the company culture. We are seeking a candidate who is intelligent and flexible – someone who can change priorities at a moment’s notice and someone who is enthusiastic about learning and growing as a technician in the semiconductor industry.

This is a non-exempt position working on a compressed work week shift –night shift(Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, andevery other Saturday from 6:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.).This is a factory position and requires wearing cleanroom attire and working in a cleanroom environment. You maybe required to wear PPE and be exposed to hazardous processing materials.

• Responsible for performing scheduled andunscheduledmaintenance on wafer fabrication equipment
• Work closely with the factory management team to prioritize job tasks
• Work closely with peers,supervisor, and engineering team to deeply understand root cause of failure and use those learnings to continuously improve equipment availability to meet production goals
• Work with vendors, fieldserviceand technical representatives, and may berequiredto attend classes, seminars, vendor training if required
• Attend shift pass-down meetings and communicate daily activities
• Document all work performed on equipment

• Associate degree ina technical discipline or equivalent military experience is required
• A minimum of 4 years’hands on technical maintenance experience in high volume semiconductor environment
• The ideal candidate will have direct experienceonwafer fabrication equipment in a cleanroom environment
• Candidate must adhere to all company safety protocols
• Demonstratedproficiencyin collaboration with others to make improvements through experimentation and drive toward standardized methods
• Strong mechanical, electronic, and troubleshooting skills required
• Candidate must have solid workplace soft skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  
  Must be fluent in English
• Candidate must be comfortable navigating and operating computers
• Basic familiarity of MS Office programs is a plus
• Flexibility to adapt to rapidly changing priorities and responsibilities
• Hands-on participation andstrong senseof ownership
• Ability to work under minimum supervision in a fast paced, high volume production environment
• Must be physically capable of standing/walking up to 12 hours per shift andlift upto
  35pounds
• Must be physically capable of supporting equipment maintenance that requires occasionally bending, twisting, kneeling, reaching, squatting, etc.
• Mustbe able to wear a respirator and other personal protective equipment (PPE) for possible work handling hazardous materials
• Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment
