Sheet Metal Programmer

Davis Tool, Inc. is seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Programmer to join our team to create sheet metal programs and process documentation for laser, punch, punch/laser combo & brake machines. We manufacture a wide variety of parts for the Aerospace, High Tech, and Medical industries. The successful candidate will create high quality sheet metal programs that meet or reduce quoted machine setup and run times within a specified time limit.

• Create flat patterns from customer models using Solidworks.

• Create efficient and accurate laser, punch, punch/laser & brake programs using Bysoft7 & AP100.

• Create silkscreen jobs using Adobe Illustrator.

• Improve efficiency of existing programs.

• Work closely with sheet metal staff to improve existing processes.

• 3+ years sheet metal experience running CNC equipment in a production environment.

• Excellent computer skills.

• Bysoft7 & AP100 experience is preferred but not required.

• Ability to interpret prints (GD&T) & supplementary materials.

• Capable of sourcing punches & dies.

• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing, on both technical and non-technical matters.
