Travel Nursing Job Details – Hillsboro, OR

  Short-term acute care, Level III trauma center, teaching hospital

• End Date:
  January 19, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (options for 16, 18, or 20 weeks)
• Shift: 3x12-hour nights (19:00 – 07:30)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2050–$2200
• Patient Ratios: 1:1 to 1:3
• Scrubs:
  Provided for OR (no prints)
• Charting System: EPIC
• Parking:

• Pending RN License Accepted:
  Yes (application must be submitted and received by Oregon Board of Nursing)

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent LDRP/Labor & Delivery RN experience (4+ years preferred)
• Active Registered Nurse license in Oregon or compact state (pending accepted with proof of application)
• BLS (AHA), NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate certifications required
• Proficient in fetal monitoring, triage, IV starts, circulating for C-sections, and newborn transition
• Experience with EPIC charting system required
• Willingness to float within hospital (postpartum/NICU as needed)
• Ability to work 2 of the 3 winter holidays
• Relief charge nurse experience preferred
• Professional references required
• No background or license issues accepted

Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities

• Provide care for low to moderate risk laboring, antepartum, and postpartum patients and their newborns
• Triage obstetrical patients and perform Medical Screening Exams (MSEs)
• Circulate and recover C-sections in OR suite and private rooms
• Initiate NRP for low-moderate risk deliveries, including starting CPAP and PPV until additional support arrives
• Perform IV starts, triage, and manage newborn transitions
• Float to postpartum or NICU units as required
• Mentor and precept new nursing staff
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (respiratory, radiology, pharmacy, social services)
