Calibration & Metrology Technician (Day Shift)

Schedule:

Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM-4:00 PM

Location & Pay:  Hillsboro, OR $21

Join a leading semiconductor manufacturing team supporting one of the world's most advanced fabrication facilities. We are seeking a detail-oriented, self-starting and reliable Calibration & Metrology Technician to maintain precision measurement equipment that supports manufacturing, laboratory, and testing operations.

What You'll Do:

- Maintain and update calibration records and databases.

- Coordinate calibration activities with internal teams and outside suppliers.

- Create purchase orders and track calibration services.

- Perform calibration of measurement and test equipment including:

- Torque tools

- Micrometers

- Gauges

- Digital meters

- Basic electronic test equipment

- Troubleshoot and repair calibration equipment when applicable.

- Document completed work and maintain accurate service records.

- Support ISO 17025 and quality compliance requirements.

- Work closely with engineers, technicians, and laboratory personnel.

Minimum Qualifications

- Associate degree in Engineering Technology, Electronics, Metrology, or a related technical field OR equivalent military technical experience.

- Basic understanding of electronic test equipment and measurement devices.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

- Strong organizational and documentation skills.

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

- Preferred Qualifications

- Previous calibration or metrology experience.

- Experience working in a laboratory or manufacturing environment.

- Familiarity with oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, gauges, and precision measuring equipment.

- Understanding of ISO 17025 or quality systems.

- Experience reading technical manuals, schematics, and engineering drawings.

* + Constant bending, twisting and standing

+ Occasional sitting and walking

+ Must be able to lift and transport up to 25 pounds

+ Frequently push a cart with a push force of up to 50lbs

+ Required to work in multiple locations within a facility (dock and lab) and the ability to walk long distances of up to a quarter mile between locations
