About the Role
This job posting is for a Shift Manager position at a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee using the McDonald’s brand. The franchisee is the employer.
Responsibilities- Lead shifts every week, ensuring fast, accurate, friendly customer experience.
- Provide leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to ensure quality, service and cleanliness.
- Plan shifts, monitor performance, take corrective action to meet standards.
- Monitor safety, security and profitability.
- Communicate with the next Shift Manager to help prepare for a successful shift.
- Help assigned Departments meet their goals and targets during shifts.

- Previous leadership experience preferred, ideally within restaurant, retail or hospitality.
- Positive team player with flexible schedule.
- Passion to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Must be 18 years or older to be a manager in corporate owned restaurants.
- Education through Archways to Opportunity (High School degree, college tuition assistance, ESL).
