Market of Choice in Reed's Crossing Hillsboro is now hiring cooks to join our friendly and professional work environment. Our kitchens feature state‑of‑the‑art, modern facilities that provide a great opportunity to advance your culinary career. This position starts at $17.50 per hour – $20.00 per hour depending on experience, with growth opportunity up to $21.00.

• Assist the Chef/Kitchen Manager with daily activities.
• Consult with the Chef/Kitchen Manager to ensure timing of orders and production schedules are coordinated.
• Produce sandwich, salad, entree, catering trays, and soup for the hot and cold cases.
• Perform counter work when needed during busy periods.
• Deliver assigned orders and other orders promptly.
• Help order and maintain inventory of fresh, frozen, and sundry products.
• Train new kitchen workers and assistants.
• Prepare deep‑fried, baked, stovetop foods, and salads.
• Maintain positive relations with customers, vendors, and employees.
• Maintain Health and Safety sanitation requirements.
• Hold a current Food Handler card.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of professional cooking experience, be available for any shift including weekends, and be at least 18 years old.
