The Home Depot is hiring for the Cashier role. Cashiers provide fast, friendly, accurate and safe service by processing checkout and returns, monitoring the Self-Checkout area, and assisting customers with product information and selling opportunities. Adherence to all policies helps minimize shrink. A Head Cashier may oversee cashiers, expedite price checks, and approve POS transactions and markdowns across mainline registers, Self-Checkout, Returns, Pro Desk, Special Services, and Tool Rental.
They provide first-level escalation and assist in supervising, coaching, and training Front End Associates, including training new Cashiers and coaching with available tools. A preferred qualification is 1+ years of Cashier experience.
