Peterson Cat seeks a Used Equipment Sales Administrator to support the Used Equipment department. The position is based at either Hillsboro, OR or San Leandro, CA.

This role focuses on managing used equipment sales processes, including paperwork, data entry, asset listings, and coordination with marketing and sales teams.
Essential Job Functions- Assist Used Equipment department with paperwork and data entry for used equipment purchases and trade‑ins.
- Complete, monitor, and track Sales team NTLs (Need to Locate) for used equipment assets and liaise with Used Equipment Department.
- Collect and upload pictures for used equipment assets into the company database.
- Ensure all used equipment assets have advertised pricing and maintain any price adjustments directed by management.
- Ensure all available used equipment assets are properly posted to with pictures and proper information.
- Monitor, track, and store all paperwork/data for consignment machines.
- Help maintain complete and accurate records on used equipment assets in inventory.
- Work with the Marketing team as directed to provide necessary information for regular publications, communications, and promotions.
- Coordinate all equipment hauling for used sales, transfers, and demos/loaners.
- Assist in locating specific equipment required for Sales Representatives.
- Maintain regular, punctual, and predictable attendance.
- Travel away from base location occasionally to meet with team members, attend training, and perform other essential functions.
- Work collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation.
- Display excellent communication skills including presentation, persuasion, and negotiation skills required in working with customers/coworkers, including the ability to communicate effectively and remain calm and courteous under pressure.
- Respectfully take direction from supervisor/manager.
- High School Diploma or GED plus a minimum of three (3) years of related experience in equipment sales, preferably in a heavy industrial environment; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Caterpillar dealer background preferred.
- Knowledge of Dealer Business System (DBS) preferred.
