About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineer to drive quality assurance initiatives across our mobile, web, and firmware platforms. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in automation testing, a strong background in both manual and automated QA methodologies, and proven experience executing testing and project deliverables to provide reliable, high‑performing software solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for web and mobile platforms (iOS and Android).
- Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and Dev Ops to develop testing suites and ensure product quality throughout the development lifecycle.
- Adhere to best practices for test automation, CI/CD integration, and defect management.
- Partner with quality and engineering leadership to analyze test results, track key QA metrics, and provide insight for process improvement and reporting to leadership.
- Ensure test coverage aligns with business priorities and compliance requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement in testing tools, techniques, and processes.
Must-Have:
- 3+ years of experience in software quality engineering
- Experience in mobile automation (Appium, Espresso, XCUITest, or similar).
- Proficiency in web automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, Git Lab CI, or similar).
- Experience with validation of hardware and firmware running on microprocessor/linux platforms
- Emulator/Simulator use
- Hands‑on experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Test Rail).
- Proven ability to deliver on commitments and a dedication to software quality
- Exposure to microservices and API testing (REST, Graph
QL, Postman, Rest Assured). - Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience with performance and security testing.
- Experience with designing test automation frameworks
