Immediate need for a talented Software Engineer:
Networking Development - II. This is a 06+months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Hillsboro, OR(Onsite).

Pay Range: $35/hr - $42/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities- Reproduce, triage, and root-cause customer-reported issues related to Ethernet solutions.
- Debug software, firmware, and platform-level issues in a laboratory environment using industry-standard debug tools.
- Validate firmware releases and support deployment readiness activities.
- Configure, instrument, and maintain server platforms for validation and troubleshooting.
- Analyze logs, packet captures, and system telemetry to identify root causes and recommend solutions.
- Collaborate with engineering teams, customers, and ecosystem partners to drive issue resolution.
- Document findings and contribute to application notes, design guides, and validation procedures.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts to improve validation efficiency and data collection.
- 3+ years of experience in networking, validation, system integration, firmware, or platform engineering.
- Strong understanding of Ethernet technologies and networking fundamentals (OSI Layers 1-4).
- Experience with 10G, 25G, 50G, 100G, and 200G Ethernet environments.
- Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting experience.
- Experience with Git and Jira.
- Basic scripting skills using Python and/or Bash.
- Associate degree; bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
- Familiarity with DPDK, SR-IOV, and RDMA technologies.
- Experience supporting customer platform enablement or technical account activities.
