Job Title: Inventory Specialist

Pay Rate: $22/hr
Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Inventory Specialist to join our team supporting a leading multinational manufacturer. As part of our embedded team, you will work closely with management and cross-functional teams to manage goods in/out activities, maintain critical stock items, and ensure accurate product distribution. Your proactive approach will help maintain stock accuracy, support operational efficiency, and deliver exceptional service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive goods, including checking, counting, and putting away stock.
- Pick and pack customer orders within agreed time frames and turnaround standards.
- Maintain good housekeeping practices and adhere to all safety, quality, and operational protocols.
- Operate and update computerized Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and other tools.
- Identify and resolve inventory-related issues proactively.
- Safely operate company vehicles and equipment for local deliveries.
- Perform regular stock checks and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Provide flexibility to perform additional duties as needed to support customer requirements.
Qualifications
- Flexible, reliable, and hardworking with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and use initiative.
- Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving skills.
- Technical proficiency and computer skills (Microsoft Office, Excel, etc.).
- Prior warehouse experience and background in spare parts management desirable.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Full driver’s license required
- Forklift license and experience highly desirable.
- Experience with stock control systems (ERP/WMS); prior SAP experience is an advantage.
