- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
- Measure, mark, and layout materials for fabrication.
- Operate fabrication equipment including saws, grinders, presses, shears, brakes, and punch machines.
- Cut, bend, drill, and shape metal materials to required specifications.
- Assemble fabricated components using welding, bolting, riveting, or other fastening methods.
- Perform MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding as required.
- Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments safely and effectively.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials throughout the shop.
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production deadlines.
- Perform routine maintenance on fabrication equipment as needed.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous metal fabrication experience preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
- Experience operating fabrication machinery and hand tools.
- Welding experience is a plus.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and quality standards.
- Reliable transportation and attendance.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift throughout the shift.
- Frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds; heavier lifting with assistance.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing or shop environment.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, gloves, steel-toed boots, and hearing protection.
