Residential Program Manager – Readington, NJ
Community Options, Inc. is a national non‑profit agency providing services to individuals with disabilities in 12 states. We are actively seeking an experienced Residential Program Manager to lead a team in delivering person‑centered care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Program Manager supports day‑to‑day operations, ensures programmatic goals are met, and fosters a culture of quality and respect.
Starting pay: $47,500 per year.
Responsibilities- Manage staff schedules and ensure adequate staffing for all shifts.
- Coach team performance through communication, training, performance management, staff meetings, and employee recognition.
- Develop and implement activity programs including the Meaningful Day curriculum.
- Communicate with families and guardians of individuals as needed.
- Ensure individuals receive support per their ISP/PCP, including medication management, meal planning, and behavior management.
- Maintain accurate and timely program documentation and billable records.
- Monitor health and medical needs, reporting concerns promptly.
- Maintain clean, well‑maintained work locations and vehicles, stocking supplies such as groceries, medications and cleaning supplies.
- Collaborate with license and department staff during inspections, inquiries or investigations.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
- Two minimum years full‑time experience supporting people with disabilities.
- Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
- Knowledge of state regulatory agency operations and standards relevant to intellectual or developmental disabilities support.
- Employment contingent upon successful background, child‑abuse registry, central registry, and drug testing checks.
- Work in residential programs, day programs and in the community.
- Schedule may change, including evening and weekend hours.
- On‑call duty may be required in cooperation with other management staff.
