Position Overview

Nor Tek Medical Staffing is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join a collaborative rehabilitation team in Township, New Jersey. Key Responsibilities

Assist in the delivery of physical therapy treatments as outlined in patient care plans

Implement therapeutic exercises and interventions to improve mobility, strength, and functional outcomes

Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising Physical Therapist

Educate patients and families on exercises, safety, and functional mobility strategies

Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards

Collaborate with physical therapists and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure coordinated care

Required Qualifications

Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

Active New Jersey PTA license (or ability to obtain)

Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-care skills

Experience

Prior experience in outpatient, inpatient, or rehabilitation settings is a plus but not required
