Responsibilities of the Certified Home Health Aide
-

• Ability to perform personal care activities that will enable patients with their activities of daily living, this includes and not limited to:
• Personal Hygiene (assist with toileting and bathroom)
• Dressing/Shaving
• Prepare meals and snacks according to specific diet instructions
• Ambulation/Transfers
• Accompany patients on errands or medical appointments
• Perform light housekeeping activities which includes (not limited to vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens and cleaning bathrooms).

• Certified Home Health Aides should have the following skills and qualifications:
  
  • High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred.
  • At least 1 year experience as a Caregiver/ Certified Home Health Aide in healthcare (in homes or facilities).
  • NJ Licensed as Certified Home Health Aide - a must have
  • Must be fully covid vaccinated & boosted
  • 2-step PPD
  • Physical within the last 12 months
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and insured automobile
