With new apartments and care suites on the way, we’re looking for an experienced Village Manager or senior operational leader to guide our team and residents through an exciting period of change and growth
Your ability to build relationships, communicate clearly and keep residents at the heart of decision-making will be key to your success. As Village Manager, you’ll be the trusted face of Parkside — leading day-to-day operations across both the Village and Care Home, supporting our people, and ensuring residents enjoy a safe, engaging and well‑run environment.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will:
- Provide strong, visible leadership across the Village and Care Home
- Work closely with residents, families, teams, contractors and internal partners
- Play an active role in upcoming development and construction activity
- Support a positive culture where communication is open, timely and respectful
- Maintain solid financial performance including P&L management and sales focus
- Drive continuous improvement across systems, processes and service delivery
- Champion quality, safety and wellbeing for residents and staff
You are a natural leader and communicator, capable of navigating the dynamic demands of a busy village while inspiring and developing your team. With empathy, charisma, and respect for diverse perspectives, you’ll create a thriving environment where residents are truly at the heart of everything we do. Your leadership will ensure our Village and Care Home remains vibrant, future‑ready, and a place our residents are proud to call home.
YourExperience Includes
- Proven leadership in retirement village management (highly regarded)
- Operational management expertise in a people or service‑focused business
- A resident‑first mindset with empathy, professionalism, and a strong service ethic
- Outstanding communication and relationship‑building skills, with a natural ability to influence, collaborate, and engage, including responsiveness and follow‑through
- A commitment to operational excellence with strong process, systems, and quality improvement capability
- Financial acumen including sales focus and P&L ownership
- Strategic thinking with a flair for innovation
- Risk management experience, including health & safety and wellbeing
