Supervisor – Job Overview

As a Supervisor you will be engaged in all aspects of the day-to-day operations at the restaurant. You are responsible for getting guests and staff excited about their experience. You will need to be a team leader, a great problem solver, and have the ability to handle stress and rise above. You will work hard, but have a great time doing it!

Responsibilities
  • Lead each shift by delegating duties, assigning specific tasks and ensuring team members are prepared for each day
  • Responsible for the training and development of team members on their shift(s)
  • Contributes to a team environment by recognizing and reinforcing individual and team accomplishments on their shift
  • Follow operational policy and procedures, including those for cash handling and safety/security, to ensure the safety of all team members and guests during each shift
  • Acts with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promotes the culture
  • Must be proficient in each area of the restaurant in order to help wherever needed
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant and ensure proper setup and breakdown of the entire restaurant including dining room, restrooms, kitchen and prep areas
  • Ability to manage time effectively while meeting all job responsibilities
  • Maintains a positive work environment for team members and guests during each shift
  • Enthusiastic and professional attitude must be displayed at all times
  • Excellent guest service skills required
  • Must be able to take direction and delegate responsibilities
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Team oriented, adaptable, dependable, and strong work ethic
  • Ability to communicate efficiently to help keep all team members informed
  • Mobility required during the entire shift
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Experience in restaurant supervision or similar leadership role is expected
  • Strong communication and guest service skills
  • Ability to train and develop team members
  • Proficiency in cash handling and safety procedures
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
