A Hillsborough family is seeking a seasoned after-school family assistant to care for their 6-year-old twin girls and assist with household tasks. This position is currently filled.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, typically 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with flexibility to stay later for work dinners or date nights. Final shift end time may be 8:00 PM if the family agrees to shorter evenings on occasion. Salary: $40–$45/hour DOE + standard benefits (paid vacation, sick days, holidays).

• Finish laundry started by the morning nanny
• Light tidying (family uses a cleaning service)
• Clean up after dinner
• Errands and shopping for groceries
• Cook dinner for the family (simple meals: protein, vegetables, and carbs)
• Prepare the girls’ lunches for the next day
• School afternoon pickup and transporting to activities
• Plan activities and supervise homework
• Let vendors in for maintenance
• Assist with bedtime routine
• Stay later for date nights/work dinners as needed

• 2 years minimum experience as a Family Assistant with excellent verifiable references

• Fluency in English

• COVID-Vaccinated and ideally current on booster
• TB and Tdap current
• CPR certified
• Valid driver with clean record (family provides a vehicle for work-related driving)
• Enjoys cooking and is organized
• Excellent communication skills
• Comfortable with swimming and supervising children in the pool
• Maintain confidentiality and discretion
• Comfortable with dogs (family is considering getting a pet)
• Flexibility to stay later when needed
• Willingness to travel on occasion (nice-to-have)
• Career nanny/family assistant with longevity and experience in larger/staffed homes
