They are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to oversee accounting and financial operations while supporting continued growth and process improvement. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands on finance leader who enjoys partnering with operations, developing teams, and using financial insights to improve business performance.
Job DescriptionReporting to senior leadership, the Financial Controller will lead accounting and finance activities while supporting strategic and operational decision making.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead accounting functions including general ledger, AP, AR, payroll, inventory, cost accounting, and treasury.
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and ensure accurate US GAAP reporting.
- Prepare financial statements, budgets, forecasts, cash flow analyses, and management reporting.
- Lead budgeting and forecasting in partnership with department leaders.
- Oversee manufacturing cost accounting, including standard costing, job costing, inventory controls, and variance analysis.
- Partner with operations to identify cost savings, improve efficiency, and enhance profitability.
- Manage cash flow forecasting, banking relationships, financing compliance, and lender reporting.
- Coordinate external audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting.
- Develop and maintain internal controls, accounting policies, and financial procedures.
- Lead ERP implementation, upgrades, and optimization initiatives.
- Develop accounting and finance team members and promote continuous improvement.
- Support executive leadership with strategic analysis, business planning, and special projects.

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related discipline
- 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience
- Significant manufacturing industry experience
- Strong expertise in job costing, standard costing, inventory accounting, and variance analysis
- Ability to work on-site 5 days/ week.
- $ 130,000 to $ 140,000 base salary
