Eno River Academy is a public charter school in Hillsborough, NC.

This is a full-time on-site position located in Hillsborough, NC. The Adapted Curriculum Teacher will be responsible for developing and implementing specialized lesson plans to support the diverse needs of students with exceptional learning requirements. Key responsibilities include providing tailored instruction, monitoring student progress, and collaborating with parents, staff, and other educators to create inclusive and effective learning environments. The teacher will also be expected to guide students in developing individual goals and support their academic, social, and emotional growth.

• Strong skills in Lesson Planning and tailoring educational content to diverse learning needs
• Expertise in Education and Teaching methodologies, preferably with experience in special education or adapted curriculums
• Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills to engage students, parents, and colleagues effectively
• Proficiency in Training and mentoring peers or support staff
• Relevant certifications in special education or related fields
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education or a related discipline
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students
