Applications will be accepted for math and ELA tutors during the school year. The tutor's primary responsibility is to assist schools in improving the academic achievement of 3rd through 5th grade and 7th-8th students who are 1-2 grade levels below their typically performing peers. The tutor will engage in direct tutoring support to small groups of 4-6 students along with a classroom teacher for 5-6 sessions per day.
Duration of Tutoring September 2026 through April 2027
Qualifications:
- Substitute teacher certification and/or bachelor's degree is preferred
- Demonstrates knowledge of math and literacy with specific emphasis on the Foundational Skills
Salary: $25.00 per hour for five hours per day
