- Continuously develop product and sales acumen to become the vehicle authority; know product offerings, optional packages, and latest technologies for new and used cars.
- Develop relationships with customers to build a client base for life.
- Display consultative selling skills and assist customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully.
- Handle customer concerns and provide solutions within reasonable time limits using dealership’s CRM, phone, text, and email.
- Perform high-quality professional demonstrations of new/used vehicles.
- Follow up with buyers to ensure successful referral business.
- Learn to overcome objections and thrive within sales situations.
- Become a team leader by helping the sales team reach management goals.
- Report directly to the senior management team regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analyses.
- Bring leadership, a positive attitude, and enthusiasm to work every day.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Reliable and presentable in business attire representing Empire in a professional manner.
- Excellent attendance record and commitment to punctuality.
- Good listening and empathy while leading.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
- Experience providing outstanding customer service and growing customer satisfaction.
- At least three years of prior automotive industry employment.
- Friendliness, enthusiasm, reliability, and a positive team-player attitude.
- Openness to constructive feedback for performance improvement.
- Flexibility with work scheduling and availability to work weekends and holidays.
- Strong computer and multi-tasking skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Ability to operate a clean, organized, presentable workplace with strong attention to detail.
