What you'll do in your role:- Assist in making recommendations for security procedures and practices.
- Identify and resolve security‑related issues.
- Conduct physical surveys of premises and security equipment condition.
- Prepare reports relating to internal investigations of any losses or violations of CFBNJ regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Assist in the preparation of emergency management and contingency plans.
- Handle security issues regarding associates, such as procedures for terminations and violations of company policy including theft and incidents of violence.
- Collaborate with public law enforcement, fire, and other agencies regarding security at CFBNJ or CFBNJ team members.

- High school graduate with at least two years of customer service experience and two years of administrative or office reception responsibilities.
- Minimum of three years of experience as a security officer.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook.
- Proficiency with IVMS camera applications or other security camera systems.
- Law‑enforcement training or experience is welcomed.
- Critical thinking, judgment, calm demeanor for solving security issues; ability to handle emotional situations.
- Self‑directed; able to work independently and as part of a team; good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously, work under pressure.
- Strong initiative, creative problem solving, flexibility, discretion with confidential matters.
- Ability to work with all levels in an organization and with diverse cultures.
- Willingness to work variable hours, including Saturdays/Sundays; proposed shift 9:30 am–6 pm Tuesday–Friday and Saturday 5 am–1:30 pm.
The hourly pay range for this position is $21.58–$29.20. The final rate may be influenced by factors such as the position’s scope and responsibilities, work experience, training, job‑related skills, internal equity and market conditions.
