Wage: $28.02/hr plus $2.00 shift differential

Shift: 2nd Shift, Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts (overtime may be required)

As an Industrial Maintenance Reliability Technician I, reporting directly to your supervisor, you will perform maintenance tasks—particularly proactive ones—to ensure the high-quality, efficient, and timely shipment of Sonoco products. Emphasizing safety, quality, productivity, and a strong work ethic aligns with our company culture.

What you'll be doing:

• Installing and maintaining auxiliary equipment as required by production.
• Maintaining and repairing utility and facility-related equipment as directed by the Plant Engineer.
• Assisting and training other maintenance personnel with repairs, preventive maintenance, and rebuilds.
• Collaborating with other departments for proactive problem resolution.
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Managing small projects to maintain or upgrade equipment.
• Supporting Sonoco's quality and safety policies in all duties.

We'd love to hear from you if:

• You have experience in an industrial environment or military service.
• You are skilled in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining manufacturing equipment.
• Experience with PLC troubleshooting, industrial controls, and motor controls is preferred.
• You are comfortable with mechanical lifts, ladders, kneeling, bending, twisting, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• You can work independently, managing multiple tasks in an off-shift position with rotating shifts, including overtime and weekends.
