Industrial Maintenance Reliability Technician I

Wage: $28.02/hr plus $2.00 shift differential

Shift: 2nd Shift Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts (overtime may be required)

Reporting directly to your supervisor as an Industrial Maintenance Reliability Technician I, you will be responsible for performing maintenance tasks, specifically proactive tasks, necessary to ensure high-quality, efficient, and timely shipment of Sonoco products. Safety, quality, productivity, and a strong work ethic are integral to Sonoco’s culture.

• Experience in an industrial environment or military experience.
• Experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining manufacturing equipment.
• Experience with PLC troubleshooting, industrial, and motor controls preferred.
• Comfortable with mechanical lifts, ladders, kneeling, bending, and twisting; lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in an off-shift position with rotating shifts that may include overtime and weekends.
