Provides leadership for the day-to-day activities performed in the picking department. Communicates effectively regarding performance and exceptions to supervisor. Assists in all picking activities and projects as required to meet the targets.

• Organize daily activities of the team
• Pick all production orders on time based the schedule of the Planning Dept.
• Pick all straight pull orders on time based on SAP requirements
• Replenish all Supermarket, Kanban and refill areas
• Print all necessary pick tickets
• Maintain Accuracy of Work (correct code, quantity & quality of parts picked)
• Review, report, and resolve exceptions (missing parts, rush/late orders, poor quality, etc.)
• Evaluate the work load & department capacity
• React & make necessary changes to maintain targets & KPI metrics
• Monitor results & update the leadership team by emailing daily efficiency & exception reports
• Focus on safety; train and hold team members accountable to adhering to safety procedures
• Review and support supervisor to maintain, update & improve work instructions
• Train and hold team members accountable to performing duties as per documented in the standard work instructions
• Maintain an Organized Workplace; daily, weekly, and monthly 5S activities and audits
• Other projects & responsibilities as required by supervisor

• High School Diploma or G.E.D equivalent from an accredited institution
• Knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Operate Forklift and electric hand truck (Transportation Equipment)

• Good decision-making abilities and leadership with motivational skills
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to efficiently network and coordinate processes
• Required to stand for long periods of time, bend, kneel and lift cumbersome and/or heavy objects
