  • Providing senior-level munitions expertise to competition, crisis, contingency, theater, and operational planning efforts.
  • Supporting joint component Class V posture initiatives through the consolidation, interpretation, coordination, and dissemination of posture information.
  • Conducting or supporting inter-theater surveys and assessments to validate munitions posture, capacity, and sustainability.
  • Coordinating with applicable joint munitions working groups and governance bodies to deconflict activities and track and report logistics risks.
  • Serving as a senior representative coordinating with operations, logistics, plans, and future-operations stakeholders to maintain an accurate theater posture plan and associated tactics, techniques, and procedures.
  • Providing oversight, guidance, and quality assurance for munitions personnel and supporting quality assurance staff.
  • Preparing senior-level briefings, decision-support products, status reports, risk assessments, and logistics recommendations.
  • Identifying emerging munitions risks, develop mitigation options, and communicate impacts to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Mentoring junior planners and contribute to continuous improvement of munitions planning, accountability, and reporting processes.

This position is contingent on award.
