As a Group Leader, you’re the go‑to grownup during after‑school hours—leading games, supporting learning, and creating a safe, positive space where kids can be kids. You’ll work as part of a supportive team that believes in fun, growth, and showing up for our community.

• Lead games, activities, and enrichment projects
• Support homework time and positive behavior
• Build strong relationships with kids, families, and teammates
• Help create an environment that’s safe, inclusive, and fun

• You genuinely enjoy working with children
• You’re dependable, positive, and ready to jump in
• Experience with kids is great—but not required
• Must be at least 18 with a HS Diploma or GED and be available during after‑school hours (Mon‑Fri)

Select sites may have Group Leader Aide roles open for High School students under 18.

• Hilo (Waiakeawaena Elementary A+)
• Monday–Friday | Approx. 1:30 PM–5:30 PM
• Wednesdays (early release) start at 12:30 PM
• Hours and days will vary for substitute positions

• Flexible weekday schedule that fits perfectly with school or other commitments
• Up to $1,000 per semester in tuition assistance
• Full‑time benefits for part‑time hours: paid holidays, paid time off, and a 401(k) with 6% company match among others! (See our Career Site for more on benefits)
• Paid training—no experience needed
• Childcare discounts: 50% to start, increasing to 75% after one year
