This position is located in Hilo, Hawai'i. The East Hawaii Region (EHR) of Hawaii Health Systems Corporation includes Hilo Medical Center, Ka’u Hospital, Hale Ho’ola Hamakua, Yukio Okutsu State Veterans Home and the network of primary and specialty clinics within the East Hawaii Health Clinics. It is part of the Hawaii Health Systems Corporation.

The Big Island of Hawai'i offers amazing rainforests, waterfalls and beaches. The hospital staff is community-oriented and strive to provide competent and compassionate care to every patient that enters our doors.

SUMMARY:

The staff Cardiologist provides professional cardiologic assessment and care to all patients of East Hawaii Region including an outpatient clinic, inpatient and patients in the facilities emergency room. The physician is responsible for coordinating and rendering professional medical advice and making decisions on cardiologic needs of patients. This position has a great benefits package offering medical, dental and vision benefits for you and your dependents, 20 days PTO & 5 days CME.

LICENSURE:

• Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Hawaii.
• BLS certified.
• Applicants must be board certified or board prepared in Cardiovascular Disease. If considered prepared, applicants have up to 3-years to achieve certification after completion of an approved fellowship.
