Pulmonology - Critical Care Physician

Key Responsibilities:

• Work Schedule:
  
  50% outpatient pulmonary and 50% ICU; one week off per month

• Provide expert diagnosis, treatment, and management for ICU patients, including cardiac, trauma, medical, and surgical cases

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures such as POCUS, bronchoscopy, intubation, thoracentesis, and vascular access

• Conduct outpatient visits for patients with respiratory conditions including COPD, asthma, interstitial lung disease, and sleep disorders

• Complete comprehensive patient assessments, including history, exam, and diagnostic evaluation, along with end-of-life or goals-of-care discussions

• Formulate and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to patient needs and histories

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, high-quality care

• Document all evaluations, treatment plans, procedures, and follow-up actions accurately in the electronic medical record

Education Requirements:

• MD or DO

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine
