Part-time, non-tenure track, for placement in Spring, Summer and/or Fall lecturer pool, assignments as needed, contingent on availability of funds and actual staffing requirements for East Hawaii (Hilo), West Hawaii (Kailua-Kona), and/or North Hawaii (Honokaa) campuses. Must be able to attend meetings and trainings on short notice as well as teach courses in person, as necessary.

• Under general supervision, conduct lecture and as appropriate, laboratory courses in the discipline.
• May include instructional assignment involving distance education.
• Maintain at least one office hour per week for each class taught.
• Possible evening, weekend and off-campus assignments.
• Conduct student evaluations of teaching effectiveness.
• Participate in assessment of course learning outcomes.
• Adhere to all due dates, including the online submission of grades.

• (a) Master s in Fine Arts in Studio Art with the specialization in new media art or a related area of study (i.e. design, animation, digital art, digital media, multi-media, computer graphics, film, etc) and 1 year of related industry experience;
• OR (b) any Master s degree with coursework in new media art or a related area of study and 3 years of related industry experience;
• OR (c) any Bachelor s degree with coursework in new media art or a related area of study and 5 years of related industry experience;
• OR (d) any Associate s degree with coursework in new media art or a related area of study and 7 years of related industry experience.

• Willingness to work with Running Start and Early College programs and pass required additional screening as necessary.
• Demonstrated commitment and/or experience supporting the success of students.

Expense of the evaluation shall be borne by the applicant.
