Construction Material Testing in Hawaii seeks a Certified Welding Inspector II to hold accept/reject authority on structural steel, pipe, and fabricated welds. You will inspect to AWS D1.1, D1.5, D1.8, ASME IX, or API 1104 as required, witness welder qualification tests, review WPS and PQR, and sign reports relied on by the engineer and the building official.
Travel may be required to project sites; 2+ years’ CWI experience is needed, with ICC steel and bolting certification preferred.
