Travel Registered Nurse ED

Travel Nurse RN ED – Emergency Department (Hilo, Hawaii)

Pay Range: $95,472.00 - $ per 13‑15 week assignment.

Duration: 13–15 weeks, 36 hours per week, 12‑hour day shifts.

We are seeking experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurses for a contract assignment in a fast‑paced emergency department. The ideal candidate thrives in a high‑acuity, team‑oriented environment with rapid patient turnover and a strong focus on patient safety and quality care.

• Shift: Day shift – three 12‑hour shifts per week (36 hours weekly); no guarantee of hours
• Holiday Coverage: Required

• 28‑bed Emergency Department
  • 4 trauma bays
  • 2 behavioral health rooms
  • 22 cardiac monitoring rooms

• Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care to patients of all acuity levels
• Perform rapid patient assessments, triage, and prioritization of care
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to emergent conditions
• Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to deliver timely care
• Accurately document patient care using the electronic medical record system

• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Active Hawaii RN license required by assignment start date
  • Candidates without an active license must apply upon offer acceptance
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills

• BLS/BCLS required
• ACLS required
• PALS required
• Preferred (not required):
  Procedural Sedation, TMCC, EMPC

• EPIC electronic medical record (EMR)

• Must arrive Thursday prior to assignment start to complete employee health requirements on Friday
