Imaging Specialist We are seeking a skilled Imaging Specialist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures safely and accurately while providing high-quality patient care and supporting the imaging team.
Key Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic imaging examinations according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Prepare and position patients and explain procedures to ensure comfort and cooperation.
- Operate and monitor imaging equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
- Review images for technical quality and obtain additional images as needed.
- Follow radiation safety, infection prevention, and patient-care standards.
- Perform routine equipment checks and report technical issues.
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or related imaging program.
- Current ARRT certification or applicable imaging credential.
- Current state license or registration as required.
- Current BLS certification.
- Previous hospital or diagnostic imaging experience preferred.
- Strong technical, communication, attention-to-detail, and patient-care skills.
