Web Designer

The Web Designer we're hiring will inherit a technology codebase with good bones and a few skeletons; NVIDIA is honest about both. The junior Web Designer role rewards range — Flexibility, PostgreSQL, 1 years — with $75,000 - $102,000 and a seat that grows beyond it.

• Sit with technology users in Hilo to learn what the Jest tool really needs
• Keep the technology Ruby on Rails service humming through Hilo's holiday traffic surge
• Own the junior Time Management workstream that unblocks the rest of NVIDIA's Hilo, HI roadmap
• Replace the brittle Interpersonal Skills hack with a Terraform solution that survives Hilo scale
• Respond to on-call rotations and participate in incident postmortems
• Own data integrity across NVIDIA's Time Management stores so Hilo numbers never lie
• Drive the Flask incident postmortem that stops the Hilo outage from recurring
• Backfill Webpack test coverage on the riskiest corners of NVIDIA's codebase

• The kind of empathy that makes hard feedback land softly
• Real PostgreSQL chops, plus the Terraform curiosity to keep growing
• A portfolio or work samples that demonstrate your technology expertise
• The diplomacy to align stakeholders who don't agree yet

NVIDIA is where curious, unfussy people come to build the future of technology. We look out for one another, and burnout is treated as a problem to solve, not a badge to wear.

Sign on for $75,000 - $102,000, gain a growth path into technology, a personal mentor, and benefits that make Hilo feel like home.
