Ohana Law Firm is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Law Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. As a Family Law Attorney, you will be responsible for representing clients in a range of family law cases including divorce, child custody, and adoption.

This role demands not only strong legal expertise but also the ability to empathize with clients and guide them through complex emotional and legal challenges. The ideal candidate will possess excellent negotiation skills, a thorough understanding of family law procedures, and the ability to advocate effectively on behalf of clients, whether in court or during mediation sessions. Responsibilities
  • Represent clients in family law cases including divorce, child custody, and property division.
  • Prepare and present cases in court including hearings and trials.
  • Draft, review, and file legal documents such as petitions, motions, and agreements.
  • Advise clients on their legal rights and options concerning family law issues.
  • Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients in family law disputes.
  • Conduct legal research to stay informed about changes in family law and relevant case law.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, providing compassionate support throughout the legal process.
Requirements
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in the state where the firm operates.
